I bought the car with approx. 107k on it in late 2009. This car has NEVER left me stranded on the side of the road! Any time during the build, if something looked like it needed to be replaced, I replaced it. This car has NO lights on the dash, does not leak or burn anything, and screams like a bat out of hell if you mash the accelerator. I have ONLY used 93 octane fuel.

The Good/Parts/Maintenance:
Some of the interior pieces were starting to show their age, so I replaced a bunch of them with better condition T-5R pieces ($$). The drivers seat was in good condition, but the reclining function and seat heater did not work, so a fully functional R seat was swapped in. The center console, front drivers side door panel, and the small center console piece holding the cig. lighter were replaced. The AC was recently serviced (new O-rings, evac'd, and recharged) and blows ice cold.

All of the parts below were either installed in Jan. and have approx. 7k miles on them, except for the front pads/rotors (installed in August), OEM Volvo spark plugs (car hated the Bosch Plats.), M56L (a 98 S70 M56H was installed, which started making sounds in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear. Also the TO-bearing was making funny sounds, apparently it never lined up properly), lower engine mount, and the roof spoiler was recently installed.

94 M56L (~120k miles), all new seals
OEM Volvo external slave cylinder
OEM Volvo TO-bearing

215/45-17 Fuzion HRi tires with a lot of life left

I am sure I missed a few things, as so much was done. I have a binder with all of the receipts for parts and service completed on the car since I have owned it. If a potential buyer is interested, I have a spreadsheet that lists all of the parts and maintenance completed on the car, along with prices.

The Bad:
The car is 15 years old and does have 100k miles on it, so it is not perfect.
The weakest aspect of the car would be a few portions of the body/paint. Both side skirts have some road rash/chips and need to be resprayed, which will be pretty cheap. The rear bumper has some light cracking, which I will have to point out for you to notice. The right rear quarter panel has a few small rust spots (approx. the size of a pencil eraser). The bottom corner of the driver’s side rear door had the paint chipped off and was rusting, so I sanded it, masked off the area, and rattle canned it black to prevent more rust. There are a few ways to fix this, either replace the door, take it to be painted, or knock it out yourself. The plastic trim pieces under the head lights are a bit chipped up. I have a set w/o the wiper arm holes that need to be painted, they will be included. I have the car PPI'd for sale back in June, which pointed out the car needing new front brakes and the lower engine mount, both of which have been replaced. While the car was being inspected, I had the oil return line seal on the turbo replaced, as it had a slow leak.

I am asking $7500 as the car sits right now. I have invested a lot of time, money, and effort on this car, but I have already purchased another car and my 850 times must come to an end. I would love to keep it around, but my wife will kill me if I keep it, along with the S60R I just purchased from Florida. The wagon is NOT my DD and is officially off the road.

I am sorry for the quality of the pictures, the sun was not on my side that day. The carpet doesn't look great, but it was just because my shoes were a little wet before I stepped in. If you would like to see any specific area of the car, just ask and I will snap a few pics for you!

If you are not genuinely interested in purchasing the car, please have the respect to not bastardize my thread by asking crazy, out of line questions or directing random hate in my direction.

If interested, you can PM me here, message me on AIM: GiRaff300, or Yahoo: stugger.

Thanks for looking!
